Welcome to Little Tigers Childminding
Hi my name is Kineta, I am a Ofsted registered Childminder of 8 years and run Little Tigers Childminding based in the lovely village of Hethersett. I live with my Husband and our two not-so-little children, our son who is 16 and our daughter 13. We have 4 family pets, our dog Bella and our latest additions - 3 rabbits Snowball, Cherry and Oreo.
Ofsted graded me as "GOOD" in all areas at my last inspection (January 2025).
I do have a Facebook page (little tigers childminding) which shows what we get up-to, places we visit and this is updated regularly. Please feel free to have a browse.
I am very passionate about all of the children within my setting, seeing them grow and they become an extension of my own family, right from the very start. I offer a stimulating environment in my home from home setting where they unknowingly learn through play and exploration. This is done by me offering challenging yet exciting environments and situations. children develop into confident and inquisitive individuals and most of all, have LOTS of fun both indoors and out in the big wide world.
Children's development progress is individually planned for and exercised in accordance with my curriculum guidance, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the child's individual likes and dislikes, building on their own skills and interests.

About us
At Little Tigers Childminding, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning.

Little Tigers Childminding is situated just a few miles outside of Norwich within the lovely village of Hethersett. We are surrounded by parks, shops, local groups, and all the village amenities.

Your child will be cared for in a home-like environment within a family atmosphere. They will receive individual attention whilst also enjoying interaction with children of various ages. I follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) inside the setting as well as outside. I am very flexible, reliable and approachable.
Outside the setting.
We enjoy attending regular sessions at toddler groups, soft play centers and visits to other friends and childminders with young children. When we can we like to spend as much time as we can outside the house as possible, visiting places such as the beach, library, parks, local zoo's, countryside walks, museums and other places of interest (weather permitting).

Inside the setting
We enjoy getting messy and having fun with various activities some of which are: playing with play-doh, shaving foam, painting, sand pits, water play. arts and crafts, baking and much more.....we also use various types of foods to explore sensory play ( rice, pasta, cereals etc)
We have various learning games / puzzles / and provide lots of different toys for all different ages

We like to make use the whole of the ground floor for childminding. I also have free flow to a secure garden with lots of outdoor play equipment for all ages.

I take my chosen occupation very seriously and try to take any steps which I feel will increase my effectiveness as a registered Childminder and improve the service I provide. Therefor, I am always keen to update and refresh my knowledge through relevant training courses. I have completed he following courses below.
Level 3 childcare Diploma

Prevent Training
Norfolk Step on Training
Level 2 in food Hygiene
Safeguarding Lead practitioner (SLP)
